Biography

The Hon. William C. Bosworth, Jr. is a judge for the 413th District Court of Texas in Johnson County. He was initially appointed to the bench by former Governor Rick Perry on September 10, 2003.

Prior to his appointment, Bosworth worked as an attorney in private practice, holding a position as a partner at Rugeley & Bosworth.

Bosworth earned a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin in 1985. Then, in 1991, he completed a J.D. at St. Mary’s University School of Law.

His memberships have included the State Bar of Texas and the Johnson County Bar Association. He has also served as a board member for the Cleburne Chamber of Commerce and the Mainstreet Cleburne Project.

He is registered as a Republican.
