Judge Timothy C. Campbell: Professional Background and Legal Expertise

Hon. Timothy C. Campbell is a judge for the Bay County Court in Florida. He joined the bench in 2009.

Campbell served as the chief administrative judge of the Bay County Court.

Prior to beginning his judicial career, he was in private practice at his own law firm, the Law Offices of Timothy C. Campbell. During his twenty-four years in private practice, he gained experience in civil and criminal law.

He received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida State University in 1981. Campbell went on to complete a J.D. at Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, in 1984.

He was admitted to practice in Florida (1984), the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (1987), and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida (1989).

Campbell is a past president of the Bay County Bar Association, the Northside Rotary, the Panama City Jaycees, and the St. Andrews Bay Inn of Court. He has also sat on the board of the Nature and Discovery Center and served as chair of the Constitution Revision Committee and the Small Claims Rules Committee.

He received the President’s Pro Bono Service Award in 1991.

Campbell is a lifelong resident of Bay County.
