Biography

The Hon. Tatiana R. Salvador is a judge for the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. She was appointed to the bench by former Governor Rick Scott in 2012, filling a vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. McCarthy Crenshaw, Jr.


The 4th Judicial Circuit encompasses Clay County, Duval County, and Nassau County. Salvador has held assignments in Duval County, presiding over cases in the Felony Criminal Division.


Prior to her appointment, Salvador was a shareholder at Rogers Towers Attorneys at Law, a law firm she joined in 2001.


Salvador earned a B.A. in political science from Duke University in 1990. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law, in 1993.


After graduating from law school, Salvador began her legal career as an assistant state attorney in the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. During her tenure there, she rose through the ranks, quickly becoming Division Chief of the Homicide Division.


Her memberships have included Leadership Jacksonville, the Board of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, the Board of the OneJax Institute at the University of North Florida, and the Board of the Wolfson Children’s Hospital. She has also served as vice-chair of the City of Jacksonville’s Ethics Commission and president of the Hispanic Bar Association.


Salvador was born in Providence, Rhode Island. Her family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, when she was seven years old. She graduated from the Bolles School.


She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
