Judge Robin F. Fuson - Professional Background & Legal Expertise

Biography

Hon. Robin F. Fuson is a judge for the 13th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida in Hillsborough County. He was elected to the bench in 2018.

During his judicial tenure, Fuson has held assignments in the Civil, Unified Family Court, and Criminal Divisions.

He received a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of South Florida in 1990. Fuson then completed a J.D. at Stetson University College of Law in 1993.

After graduating from law school, he joined the Office of the State Attorney for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, where he worked as an assistant state attorney for eight years. Then, in 2001, Fuson established his own private practice, during which time he worked as a criminal defense attorney. He maintained his law practice until his election to the Circuit Court.

Fuson also taught as an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida.

He is a native of Hillsborough County.
