Biography

The Hon. Julie N. Cantrell is a senior judge for the Lake County Superior Court in Indiana. She was elected to the bench in 1996 and re-elected in 2002, 2008, and 2014.

Cantrell earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1990. She then completed a J.D. at the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1993.

Raised in Lake County, Cantrell attended Bishop Noll Institute. When not presiding over legal proceedings, Cantrell enjoys spending time with her family, including her three children.
