Biography

Hon. Jeb T. Branham is a judge for the 4th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Ron DeSantis in 2020, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. David Gooding.


The 4th Judicial Circuit encompasses Clay County, Duval County, and Nassau County.


Prior to his appointment, Branham was a sole practitioner in his own private practice, a law firm he opened in 2012. Before that, he spent time as a partner at Deem Branham (2010 to 2012).


Branham received a B.A. in English language and literature from Emory University in 1992. He went on to earn a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1995.


After graduating from law school, Branham began his legal career as an attorney at Hawkins & Parnell in Georgia. He specialized in product liability defense, representing clients in cases involving prescription pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clothing and textiles, and industrial products. He worked in that capacity until 1998, at which time he moved to King & Spalding.


Then, in 2000, Branham relocated to Florida and joined McGuireWoods. He spent the next two years in the firm's commercial litigation department, eventually leaving to open his own private practice as a sole practitioner. During this time, Branham handled administrative, business, commercial, and corporate, transactional matters.


His memberships have included the Board of Governors for the State Bar of Georgia.


Branham was a resident of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, at the time of his appointment. He attends Palms Presbyterian Church.
