Biography

The Hon. Francis D. Ricigliano is an Acting Justice for the Nassau County Supreme Court in the Tenth Judicial District of New York. Ricigliano began his judicial career as a judge for the Nassau County District Court, a position to which he was appointed in 1998. Then, in 2015, he was elected to the Nassau County Court. Shortly after his election, he was designated Acting Justice for the Nassau County Supreme Court.

Ricigliano earned a B.A. from Manhattanville College in 1985. Then, in 1988, he completed a J.D. at St. John’s University School of Law.

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Ricigliano worked as an attorney at Santangelo, Benvenuto & Slattery.
