The Hon. William F. Mazanec, III is First Justice of the Greenfield District Court in Massachusetts. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Deval Patrick in 2008, filling a vacancy created by the resignation of the Hon. Herbert H. Hodos.
Prior to his appointment, Mazanec worked as a sole practitioner in his own private practice, handling criminal, civil, and family matters from 1994 to 2008. Before that, he sat as an assistant district attorney in the Northwestern District Attorney's Office.
Mazanec earned a bachelor’s degree from Springfield College. He then completed a J.D. at Western New England Law School.
