The Hon. Marty K. Clark (Ret.) was a district magistrate for the 20th Judicial District Court of Kansas. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Bill Graves in 1998. Clark retired on May 1, 2021.
The 20th Judicial District includes Barton, Ellsworth, Rice, Russell, and Stafford Counties.
He received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Fort Hays State University in 1989.
Clark served on the Kansas Criminal Justice Reform Commission and the Judges Assistance Committee. He also held a membership with the 20th Judicial District Juvenile Corrections Advisory Board and is a past president of the Kansas District Magistrate Division.
Clark is the recipient of the Lee Nusser Award for Outstanding Magistrate Judge from the Kansas District Magistrate Judges Association (2020) and was named Kansas CASA Judge of the Year in 1989.
Clark is registered as a Republican.
