The Hon. Lorelie P. Brannan is a judge for the Baker County Court in the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Ron DeSantis in May 2022, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of the Hon. Joseph M. Williams (Ret.).
Brannan has presided over all county court matters, holding assignments in the Truancy Court and Shelter Hearings.
Prior to her appointment, Brannan worked as an assistant state attorney with the Office of the State Attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit since 2008. Before that, she worked in the same capacity in the Fourth Judicial Circuit.
Brannan received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. She went on to complete a J.D. at Loyola University, New Orleans College of Law in 2007.
She resided in Macclenny, Florida, at the time of her appointment.
