Hon. Lawrence W. Parish is a district judge for the Twenty-Fourth Judicial District in Oklahoma. He was appointed to the bench by former Governor Brad Henry in 2004, filling the vacancy created by the passing of the Hon. Franklin D. Rahhal (deceased).
The Twenty-Fourth Judicial District includes the District Courts in Creek, Okfuskee, and Okmulgee Counties.
Prior to his appointment, Parish was a longtime municipal judge for the City of Okemah. He was also a military judge in the United States Marine Corps.
He received a B.S. from Oklahoma State University in 1965. Parish went on to complete a J.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1968.
