The Hon. David L. Dahl is a judge for the 18th Judicial District Court of Kansas. He was elected to the bench in 2012 and re-elected in 2016 and 2020.
The 18th Judicial District encompasses Sedgwick County.
Dahl earned a B.B.A. (1971) and an M.B.A. (1975) from Wichita State University. He then completed a J.D. at Washburn University School of Law in 1977.
After graduating from law school, Dahl entered into private practice, working as an attorney at Johnson, Kennedy, Dahl & Willis. He remained with the firm until his election to the bench.
He is registered as a Republican.
