VERIFIED COMPLAINT FOR FORECLOSURE OF MORTGAGE
Navy Federal Credit Union (hereinafter referred to as “Plaintiff’), sues Norman LaMere
IU; Patricia LaMere; Crescent Hills Homeowners Association, Inc.; Tharpe Street Holdings, Inc.
(hereinafter referred to as “Defendants”), and alleges:
COUNT I
FORECLOSURE OF MORTGAGE
1 This is an action to foreclose a mortgage on real property in Leon County,
Florida.
2. The Court has jurisdiction over the subject matter.
3 On June 12, 2014, Patricia Lamere and Norman Lamere III executed and
delivered a promissory note (“Note”) securing payment to the payee named thereon and, Norman
LaMere, III and Patricia LaMere executed a mortgage (“Mortgage”) securing payment of the
Note. A copy of the Note is attached hereto as Exhibit “A”.
4. The Mortgage was recorded on June 17, 2014, in Official Records, Book 4679 at
Page 973 of the Public Records of Leon County, Florida, and encumbered the property described
in the Mortgage (the “Property”) then owned by and in possession of the mortgagor. A copy of
the Mortgage is attached hereto as Exhibit “B”.
5 Plaintiff, holder in possession of the Original Note, is entitled to enforce the Note
and Mortgage pursuant to Chapter 673, Florida Statutes.
6. The Property is now owned by Defendants, Norman LaMere, III and Patricia
